Day master · Yin Water
癸水 · Guǐ shuǐ
Yin Water is rain, mist, dew — water that arrives softly and reaches everything. A Gui day master tends toward quiet perception: reading moods and undercurrents early, influencing by seeping in rather than surging.
In a four pillars chart, the day stem names the self. Gui's self is the intuitive one — aware of what a room is not saying, able to nourish a project or a person a little every day until the difference is undeniable.
Water belongs to winter in the Chinese calendar. Gui holds winter's inwardness: reflection, sensitivity, the seed germinating unseen under the snow.
The shadow is evaporation of boundaries — absorbing every atmosphere until feelings become weather. The reflection is naming what is yours and what is merely near you.
